Finance Manager

Salary: £35,000 - £37,000 per annum, pro rata

Permanent, 3 or 4 days per week

Location: Penrith

Eden Rivers Trust seeks a part-time Finance Manager (three or four days a week) to join our team.  If you have experience in managing finances in a small-medium sized charity, understand and enjoy the variety of work such a position can bring, and would like to work with a group of passionate people in a great office just outside Penrith in Cumbria - this job could be for you.

Eden Rivers Trust is a small, vibrant charity that prides itself on working on the ground with communities, to protect and improve the local environment - focusing on Eden’s rivers.

The post holder will have responsibility for all financial and accounting processes of Eden Rivers Trust (charity accounts and trading subsidiary), managing the day-to-day accounting and financial management; preparing annual budgets; ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and undertaking longer-term financial planning. They will be a member of the Senior Management Team which is responsible for ensuring the effective working of the charity, and will manage a part time Administration and Finance Assistant
