Head of Engagement

Salary: £33,000 – £35,000 pa pro rata plus pension

Permanent, Full time or 30 hours

Location: Penrith, Cumbria

Eden Rivers Trust is looking for an experienced programme manager to develop our Engagement Programme going forward. In 2018, the focus will be on steering our flagship £2.3m Heritage Lottery project Cherish Eden to its conclusion.

If you have experience of developing and managing large multi-partner engagement projects with a heritage/environmental theme, controlling complex budgets, reporting to donors and line managing a staff team; we would like to hear from you. We are seeking an individual with the motivation and enthusiasm to develop our future engagement programmes and the drive to see them realised.

The Eden catchment is a great place to work. At 2,400km2, it takes in areas of exceptional natural beauty, scientifically important species and vibrant communities.

It’s a great time to join our small, dedicated team as we embark on an exciting stage in our development. As part of the new senior management team, you’ll have the chance to help shape our future, delivering innovative projects that matter to Eden’s communities and that improve and protect the Eden for people and wildlife.
