Pollution 

Pollution incidents on the Eden have been caused by a variety of factors including spills of insecticides (particularly sheep dip), slurry, silage effluent, sewage, diesel and artificial fertilisers.

The Eden is also under continuous threat from risk of diffuse pollution from the agricultural and urban environment.
