Big Balsam Bash: Heads Nook

Date: Monday 29 August | 10 am - 3 pm | Heads Nook, near Warwick Bridge

Special Bank Holiday Bash! We’re going back to Heads Nook near Warwick Bridge to continue the great work done by volunteers and the local community over the last couple of years to rid this area of Himalayan balsam.

Come and find out what all the fuss is all about this fast-spreading, invasive, non-native plant. Pick up tips for effective balsam bashing and learn the best way to combat Himalayan balsam as an individual or by going out with a group.

Everybody welcome.

Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Wear gloves (gardening ones are best if you’ve got them) and long-sleeved tops/trousers.

Don’t forget your lunch and drinks.

Booking is essential. Joining details will be sent out to you once your place has been confirmed.
