Autumn is the perfect time to get wildflower plugs in the ground. It’s still warm enough for them to spread their roots out and there’s usually a bit of rain to help them get established before the winter shuts everything down. Like our previous planting further down the valley, adding these species will improve diversity along the river banks and make better habitat for water voles and other creatures that call them home.
All ages – under 18s must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
